“The cosmopolitan atmosphere and modern flair of the Europaviertel is a perfect fit with our core principle here at MoschMosch: providing a space where people like to meet up and enjoy fast and healthy Japanese food, have something to drink, have a chat, feel good, and relax,” says Tobias Jäkel, CEO of MoschMosch GmbH describing the decision to set up at this new site. “We’re also going to keep focusing on our restaurant concept: We want to encourage local residents and office workers to come here in the evenings for a glass of wine or beer, meet up for coffee in the afternoon, or even just grab a quick espresso on the fly.” The new MoschMosch will be decorated in the style of a Japanese inn with seating for 120 inside and another 80 outside. 

The total rental space in the office and business building Europa-Allee 12-22 is around 24,000 m² (258,333 ft²), of which approximately 2,900 m² (31,215 ft²) is allocated to retail and gastronomy. The building is home to the German headquarters of BNP Paribas and CA Immo Deutschland GmbH. Together with the future MoschMosch and Loft 52, its ground floor is occupied by another restaurant and a showroom for outdoor furnishing specialist Unopiú. The building was designed and realised with sustainability in mind. Alongside saving natural resources and the environment, particular emphasis was placed on the efficiency of the building and the quality of time spent there. The building was therefore equipped with numerous green courtyards, whose thermal effects help to reduce the amount of energy needed to heat the building. After the two-year building phase was over, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e. V. (DGNB) awarded the building a “silver” certificate.
