KPMG signs lease contract in Europacity Berlin

The auditing firm KPMG AG has signed a lease with CA Immo for over 12,000 m² of rental space, for a newly constructed office building in Berlin’s Europacity.

 The company will be the exclusive office tenant of the building. CA Immo’s investment amounts to around 58 million euros, construction of the building is expected to begin in autumn 2015.

KPMG is combining several of the company’s service departments at this location, including the company’s internal IT service and the finance department. The building, which was designed by KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten Berlin, is situated right next to the Tour Total on Heidestraße and not far from Berlin Central Station. The new seven-storey building will have a total of around 14,300 m² of gross floor space and three underground levels with parking. Construction of the building is expected to begin in autumn 2015 and KMPG is scheduled to move in at the end of 2017. Jones Lang LaSalle Berlin acted as agent and consultant.
