In the meeting on December 16th 2015, the Supervisory Board of CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (CA Immo) appointed Frank Nickel (56) as the new Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of CA Immo. Frank Nickel has accepted the appointment for a term of three years starting January 1, 2016. As already announced, the previous CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, Bruno Ettenauer, resigned per 31 December 2015 by mutual agreement. As of January 1st 2016, the Management Board of CA Immobilien Anlagen AG will therefore consist of Frank Nickel, CEO, und Florian Nowotny, CFO.

Dr. Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Mr. Dmitry Mints, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CA Immobilien Anlagen Group, stated: “We welcome Mr. Nickel to CA Immo and look forward to working with him. Member of Cushman’s European Executive Committee since 2013, he led the restructuring of the business in Germany as CEO of Cushman & Wakefield LLP (Germany). Since May 2014, he furthermore occupied the post of Chairman of the EMEA Corporate Finance department in London. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was member of the Commercial Real Estate Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank for seven years, based in Frankfurt, acting as Managing Director and Head of Commercial Real Estate for Deutsche Bank for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Mr. Nickel is member of the committee of Real Estate Financing of ZIA (Zentraler Immobilienausschuss) and member of the supervisory Board of IREBS (International Real Estate Business School). He is a German citizen, married and has one daughter.
