Europaviertel continues to grow: CITY COLOURS celebrates its topping-out ceremony

Frankfurt, 08.10.2009 - The new Frankfurt district Europaviertel continues to grow: the building complex CITY COLOURS on Europa-Allee celebrated its topping-out ceremony today. Over 82 percent of the 163 flats in the complex are already sold. Completion of the residential building is scheduled for spring 2010.

The complex CITY COLOURS, jointly developed and realised by Vivico and Realgrund AG, consists of a residential and commercial building on Europa-Allee with 112 rental flats and three rear city villas with 51 freehold flats. In total, the complex has around 183,000 square feet of gross floor space. The investor for the rental flats on Europa-Allee is the Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL - Public-sector Occupational Pensions Agency).  The sale of the 1 to 4-room freehold flats in the city villas will take place through Select Immobilien (Select Real Estate).
Numerous other buildings are currently being built in Europaviertel. For instance, in September the structural work for the future Meininger Hotel on the Emser Bridge was completed by Vivico, another residential building is being built by Realgrund AG on the South 5 construction site, Vivico is currently realising the new German headquarters of BNP Paribas in the office and commercial building located at 12-22 Europa-Allee, and, at the entrance to Europaviertel, Tower 185 has already exceeded 65 feet.  In total, there are now around 2,045,000 square feet of gross floor space under construction in Europaviertel. The first residential building in Europaviertel, named Eurovenia, was completed this past summer on the neighbouring plot to CITY COLOURS and, in the year 2006, the Mövenpick Hotel opened in this new district.
