CBRE GLOBAL INVESTORS BECOME TENANTS IN TOWER 185 IN FRANKFURT

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 17 January 2013 – CA Immo has concluded another lease for 950 m2 (10,225 ft2) of rental space in Frankfurt’s Tower 185. The tenant is CBRE Global Investors Germany GmbH. This globally active company will be moving its Frankfurt office with around 30 employees to Tower 185 as of 1 July 2013.

Tower 185, which was developed by Prof. Christoph Mäckler Architekten under compliance with strict sustainability criteria, is Germany's fourth tallest office building, standing at 200 metres (656 ft), and is the newest high-rise building to be completed in Frankfurt. With the successful conclusion of this lease agreement, the occupancy rate has now risen to over 80%. The Green Building has a total rental area of around 100,000 m2 (1,076,391 ft2) and was one of the first new high-rise buildings in Europe to receive the renowned LEED Gold sustainability certification from the US Green Building Council. Other tenants of the building include the financial auditing and consulting company PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), the law firms Mayer Brown LLP and Dechert LLP, and the company Excellent Business Center.
Tower 185 is in a central location between the banking and trade fair districts on Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage and forms the entrance to Frankfurt’s Europaviertel, where CA Immo has already established a number of properties, both itself and together with partners and investors. Since June 2011, CA Immo has been working on the Skyline Plaza, one of the final building blocks of this quarter, as well as the adjacent Kap Europa Congress Centre. The Skyline Plaza shopping center will already be opening in late summer 2013.
