CA Immo successfully implements portfolio adjustment in Austria

In the wake of its strategic withdrawal from segments not belonging to the core business CA Immo has sold several properties also in Austria.

In 2015 the portfolio adjustment has delivered sales proceeds in excess of  € 80 million so far; in 2014 a large number of smaller, mixed-use properties were sold throughout Austria, generating an overall volume of around € 60 million. Recently, among others, the Rainer-Hof comprising an area of 5,800 sqm and located on Wiedner Hauptstraße and a mixed-use building in Mariannengasse were sold.

Sales of apartment houses and of smaller, mixed-use properties in Vienna and other regions with a total volume of more than € 80 million fixed so far in 2015

Sound demand by investors drove revenues clearly above book value

Reduction of Austrian portfolio to be balanced out by selective acquisitions and own developments in Vienna

Dr. Bruno Ettenauer, CEO of CA Immo: "This focus on large office properties in good urban locations increases both the quality of our portfolio and the efficiency of managing existing properties. At the same time, we were able to benefit from the currently strong demand by investors for our successful conclusion of transactions. We intend to compensate the reduction of our Austrian portfolio that is linked with those sales through selective acquisitions and own project developments in Vienna."
