With immediate effect, Ralf Schneider is responsible for overseeing the development business area across the CA Immo Group. Project development activities in Germany will be managed by Matthias Schmidt. 

In his new capacity Dr. Ralf Schneider, who has performed managerial functions for CA Immo since 2001, will head all of the Group’s project development activities in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. He succeeds Henrik Thomsen, who is leaving the company at the end of March. Matthias Schmidt has worked as a project manager at CA Immo’s Berlin branch office for several years; he will now oversee all construction projects of CA Immo in Germany. 

Ralf Schneider
Ralf Schneider (47) holds a doctorate in law. He has been active in the real estate sector for more than 15 years. He has headed CA Immo’s Munich branch office since 2010, where he was responsible, amongst other things, for realising the SKYGARDEN office building, the KONTORHAUS in Arnulfpark and the Ambigon office and commercial building in the Schlossviertel Nymphenburg district. He has also been involved in many of CA Immo’s land development processes in Munich, including the land use plans for Arnulfpark, Laim, Schlossviertel Nymphenburg, Gleisdreieck Pasing, Thalkirchen, Baumkirchen Mitte and Freimann, and most recently the Marina Quartier in Regensburg.

Matthias Schmidt
The 41-year-old expert has extensive experience in the field of project development. Amongst other things, he oversaw construction of the new headquarters of Mercedes-Benz Vertrieb Deutschland and the InterCity Hotel in Berlin. He is currently responsible for development of the Kennedy-Haus adjacent to Berlin’s main rail station.
Mr. Schmidt laid the foundations for his professional career by reading for a Master’s degree in business and engineering. He is also a property management consultant, a graduate of the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) in Regensburg and a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
