Munich, 27 July, 2010. The insurance broker company Aon has signed a lease agreement for around 20,451 ft² (1,900 m²) of office space in the ATMOS office building in Munich’s Arnulfpark. The globally operating company will move into the building located at Arnulfstrasse with its Munich office.
Furthermore, the translation company Matrix Communications AG will also move its corporate headquarters to ATMOS and has signed a lease agreement for around 6,458 ft² (600 m²) of office space.
The building designed and realized by Vivico as a green building was one of the first buildings in Germany to be certified by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen (German Sustainable Building Council - DGNB). In addition to ecological and economical sustainability criteria, special emphasis was also placed on developing sociocultural aspects. Thus, for example, spacious courtyards with water areas and high-quality greenery as well as natural lighting and ventilation in the office spaces ensure an outstanding atmosphere in the building.
After completion in 2009, ATMOS was purchased by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH for its open-ended real estate fund UniImmo: Deutschland. With the two new lease agreements, approx. 80% of the building has now been leased out.
