Additional tenants for John F. Kennedy Haus in Berlin
The new tenants are an aviation firm (approx. 2,300 m² (24,757 ft²)) and a travel company (820 m² (8,826 ft²)). In addition, the Jones Lang LaSalle real estate service company is expanding its existing rental space by an additional 750 m² (8,072 ft²). With the conclusion of these lease agreements, the building’s lease rate increases to around 70% even before completion.
“The conclusion of these leases makes it clear that Europacity has become the preferred location for offices on the Berlin market. All of the tenants in John F. Kennedy Haus come from established locations, such as Kurfürstendamm and Potsdamer Platz,” said Guido Schütte, Head of CA Immo Berlin.
John F. Kennedy Haus is being built on Washingtonplatz (Washington Square), opposite the Federal Chancellery. Designed and planned as a green building by Auer+Weber+Assoziierte (Munich), it will cover a gross floor area of about 22,000 m² (237,000 ft²). Additional future tenants in the building are the law firm White & Case LLP and Regus, a provider of flexible workplaces.
Jones Lang LaSalle (for the aviation company) and Cushman & Wakefield (for the travel firm) acted as intermediaries for the conclusion of the new leases.
