Additional lease agreements for John F. Kennedy Haus in Berlin

CA Immo has concluded two additional lease agreements for a total of approx. 1,500 sq m of office space in John F. Kennedy Haus, next to Berlin’s Main Central Station.

Berlin, 5 October 2015  The new tenants are Oxera Consulting GmbH and a company from the media industry. With the conclusion of these lease agreements, the letting ratio of the office space in the recently completed building increases to around 82 %.

Guido Schütte, Head CA Immo Berlin: "Anyone who might still have had doubts about the new Berlin hotspot, Europacity, will now have to rethink their ideas. The area has not only long since become established as an office location among internationally oriented companies; now the top rents in the city are also being achieved here. But this is not only down to the attractive location. Our building designs are also part of the reason. We try to support our tenants' business processes to optimum effect with the spatial concepts – it is often possible to save a lot of office space in our buildings, some of which is then available for such things as communication zones, think tanks, etc." 

Dr. Michael Kraus, Head of Oxera's Berlin Office, stresses: "Both the building and the loca-tion suit us extremely well as an international economic consultancy firm. The imposing premises allow growth; we can receive customers and employees from our European offices and carry out events here." 

John F. Kennedy Haus is located directly on Washingtonplatz, opposite the Federal Chancellery. Designed and planned as a green building by Auer+Weber+Assoziierte (Munich), John F. Ken-nedy Haus has a gross floor space of around 22,000 sq m (237,000 sq ft). Other tenants in the building include the law firm White & Case LLP, Jones Lang LaSalle, Expedia and Regus. 

CBRE Berlin were involved as agents and advisors in the conclusion of the new lease agreements.
